Elon Musk buys Twitter

One way newspapers push a particular narrative is mentioning the race of a perpetrator right up front or way in the back. Or not at all. A study was done looking at major newspaper articles going back 2 years and guess what they found. (You can probably guess, actually.)

There was quite a backlash to Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter. Thing is, it really brought out who really is for free speech and who isn’t.

Disney dipped it toe into the political waters, but it may be a bit to hot for them.

Ron DeSantis signs the Parental Rights in Education bill

Well I’m finally back! We’ll see how the release schedule changes, but it’s good to get back on the saddle again.

Joe Biden was supposed to be the adult in the room when it came to being President, but it doesn’t look that way. In one of his worst gaffes, he seemed to call for regime change in Russia. That’s something the Left told us that Trump would do. (And to call it a gaffe seems to underplay it. Mispronouncing the name of a head of state is a gaffe. This was much worse.)

The NY Times finnaly admitted that the Hunter Biden laptop story was an actual story. Can the NY Post now share that 2-year-old story on Twitter without getting banned?

The Parental Rights in Education Act is now law in Florida. Its critics misnamed it, and they got the effect of the bill just as wrong. If you against this, what does that mean?

The latest casualty of socialized medicine

Don’t ever let the UK National Health Service find out you have a child on life support. They’ve found another one and have condemned it to death, and will not allow her parents to take her out of the country for treatment.

I first mentioned James Younger in October of 2019. His mom had convinced him he was really a girl, and got sole custody in a divorce. There’s more to the story now. I have some good news and some bad news.

And what more can I say about the botched withdrawal / retreat from Afghanistan? Well, I have my own quick take.

Nope, they’re not the same

The largest study of transgender people, and how gender surgery affects their mental health, has reversed it’s results. The original study said that such surgery was helpful to their mental health. That was covered by the news media. But 10 months later, it turns out that the results were not as they were sold. Has that been covered?

Dan was the last of his kind, but now he’s been cast aside. What was it that caused his demise?

Many of my friends on Facebook have been conflating absentee ballots with all-mail (or universal mail-in) ballots. They are not the same, and yes they do have serious fraud risks. That’s not just me saying it.

Neil Gorsuch

The Supreme Court did it again. Once, they created a “right” to abortion out of whole cloth. Another time, they redefined the word “marriage”. Now they’ve redefined the word “sex” in such a way that it could very well bleed through to other parts of law and culture.

Is this how a “representative republic” is supposed to work? (Hint: No.)

Illegal border crossings plummet

Illegal border crossings have plummeted this past year. How did that happen? Has 100 new miles of a border wall been that successful, or is there some other reason? (Hint: There is some other reason.)

Five states are stepping up and trying to save women’s sports from an invasion. Biological men are beginning to take over, and Republican lawmakers are trying to protect it.

BE LESS CHIKIN

Chick-fil-A gives away a lot of its profits to charities. Recently, they made an announcement that seems like it was trying to appease those who protest it. I’ll explain my thoughts.

Getting sued for $2 million for exposing the truth is bad enough. Losing your case is worse.

The British Universities and College Union has decided to drop objective truth. If you are lily white and say you’re black, you won’t get an argument from them. We’re losing objective truth in academia.

Episode 271: #SaveJamesYounger

James Younger

A 7-year-old boy is the latest victim in a sexual orthodoxy that will not let you disagree with it. The father is trying to save him from a gender transitioning that he is convinced was brought on at the urging of his mother since the boy was 3.

Can a 7-year-old really make that kind of decision?

Episode 265: There Is No “Gay Gene”

Born this way? No.

A large study (over 470,000 participants) asked about sexual preferences and activity. It also looked at genetic markers. What they found was that your genes have extremely little to do with your preferences or action.

Basically it’s nurture over nature. There is no “gay gene”. “Born This Way” is a catch-phrase, a chant, not a scientific statement.

This episode has my thoughts on what this means; how we’ve been lied to, and how it exposes current pressures from the LGBTQ crew on society.
