Socialist social media fail

If you’re going to use social media, remember that this is the Internet; your words and your pictures will be fact-checked.

The economy has been going strong while Trump has been in office, which is something the experts did not predict. And it’s working for the rich and the poor. And it’s working better for the poor than the rich!

Massachusetts is thinking about making it easier for minors to get abortions. They need parental permission to get simple meds at school, but abortions? Nah.

Here’s the tweet from the Socialist Party of Britain:

Death all around us

Happy New Year! Here’s an uplifting question to start things off; what was the leading cause of death in 2019? I’m not just talking about the US, but on a global scale, what single cause killed the most people?

A family is once again trying to get a hospital to keep their young child alive. No, this isn’t another British family fighting the NHS, this is quite a bit closer to home.

And Donald Trump is fulfilling another promise to reduce the Regulatory State.

BE LESS CHIKIN

Chick-fil-A gives away a lot of its profits to charities. Recently, they made an announcement that seems like it was trying to appease those who protest it. I’ll explain my thoughts.

Getting sued for $2 million for exposing the truth is bad enough. Losing your case is worse.

The British Universities and College Union has decided to drop objective truth. If you are lily white and say you’re black, you won’t get an argument from them. We’re losing objective truth in academia.

Cate Dyer bought baby parts

Remember the Center for Medical Progress, CMP? They were the folks who did some undercover video work and caught Planned Parenthood representatives negotiating prices for selling intact baby parts. For uncovering those illegalities, they got taken to court. The preliminary hearings are finally moving along, and there’s been a revelation in the witness testimony.

San Francisco has declared the NRA a “terrorist organization”. What does that make members of the NRA? And what other groups probably should be called that given San Fran’s standards. Well, now the NRA is fighting back.

Does Beto value human life?

Yet another large study reveals more issues of mental health among transgendered people. The researchers expect more but the magnitude shocked them. It should shock all of us. But which came first?

Beto O’Roarke was asked about the value of human life. Should be an easy question, but when it’s asked about a baby one day before he or she is born, things get dicey.

Little Sisters of the Poor

One listener, Russ Rooney, called in to the Voicemail Feedback Hotline with two topic suggestions. That’s what I talk about this time out.

He asks a question about cities that have declared themselves sanctuaries for illegal immigrants, yet have a huge homelessness problem. How can cities bring in more people when they are already failing their current residents?

The Little Sisters of the Poor, a group of nuns ministering the elderly poor, got a unanimous Supreme Court decision in their favor to have nothing to do with abortion coverage for their employees. But that’s apparently not good enough for 13 states and DC from suing the nuns separately.

Russ wrote a letter to the editor of 2 of his local papers to get this lawsuit some coverage because they are totally ignoring it, even though his state is joining in this lawsuit. Where’s the journalistic integrity? See below the show transcript for his letter.

Just one question

I’ve been discussing the abortion issue for quite some time. Back in the days before the Internet, people would use dial-up modems to call Bulletin Board Systems (BBSs) and have discussions there. One particular discussion about abortion there caused me to clarify my thoughts on the subject and distill the issue down to just one question.

Depending on how you answer that question (no matter how you answer it), it shows that all other questions and issues pale in comparison. In this episode I give you the question, why it matters, and why I answer it the way I do.

And note, not a single Bible will be thumped.

“Uplanned” opening eyes

The movie “Unplanned” is doing quite well across the country, given its limited release. It is bringing the truth of the abortion industry to everyone, including many Planned Parenthood employees. It’s truly eye-opening and I recommend this exposé to anyone interested in the truth about abortion.

This episode I’ve got a new segment, “Letters from Auntie M”. It’s being voiced by a friend of mine from the Shire Network News days, the pseudonymous “Tom Paine”. For this segment, Auntie M talks about anti-Semitism in the Democratic Party.

The crisis on the border is real

Colleges and universities are supposedly where free speech and association are encouraged. Well, I have an example of where the students were all for those until they realized that it meant freedom for everyone, and there were some groups for whom they simply couldn’t allow that.

The Border Patrol has its hands full, literally. The detention centers and courts that process illegal immigrants are not able to handle the surge of people coming across the border. But hey, it’s not like it’s a crisis or anything.

And, oh yes, kittens.

Enjoying Democrat privilege

Listener Mark has a better suggestion than the REINS Act for reducing the tentacles of the bureaucratic state; scrap it.

Have you noticed a difference in how Democrats and the media treat similar scandals regarding the two parties? I have, and here’s the latest example.

Baby Thomas was born recently to a father who finds amazing healing from him and a reason to live. Listen in to understand why.
